New Trailer For Frank Millers The Spirit

In fall between hints that the next film Sin City may be making short, Frank Miller has been hard at work putting the finishing touches to his film adaptation of The Spirit. Set for release at the end of the year in the United States, and on January 2 2009 in the United Kingdom, The Spirit is based on Will Eisner comic strip about a policeman who was resurrected to fight back against the nasties of Central City. Miller wrote the screenplay and directed the film, which stars Gabriel Macht in the title role beside Samuel L Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jaime King and Eva Mendes.

L event took place in a number of locations in Speyside Saturday and Sunday. A journey through Moray whiskey country on a heritage train was part of this year program The Spirit of Speyside festival. Also on offer was a display of Highland dancing in the square, Dufftown, guided tours of distilleries and whiskey a blind taste-Ing. Passengers on board the Dufftown to Keith Whiskey Train were presented with shortbread and a small local fact pinch kilted by a steward, as the train made its way along a 146-year-old route past the ruins of the castle and distilleries.
